Need to replace front plastic screen on tv?

During my moving process to school the wind ripped off the front plastic screen of my TV. I have an RCA 52" HDTV rear projection TV. The TV still works and the picture does appear on the screen. but the colors are off and their is a bad glare on the TV now. I wondering, what that dark plastic front screen is, can it be fixed and for how much?

    Why is my new pc screen still glaring after I've set both the brightness & contrast to Zero? My eyes hurt?

    after 15minutes into it. I would think zero would be like very dim but it’s only a little less brighter than ten. Is it just me or this is normal? Should I adjust the colors (blue, red, green)?

    matte vs glossy screen on asus eee 1005ha?

    is there much of a glare on the gloss screen when used outside? The netbook i want to buy is the asus eee 1005ha-P, but it has a glossy screen. I really don’t want to buy the 1005ha-V because the battery life is 2 hrs shorter and it’s slightly slower clocked at only 1.6ghz.
